Core Balance Current Transformer

An earth fault creates net imbalance magnetic flux that induces a trip voltage in the secondary sensing winding.
Circuit Protective Conductor
A protective conductor connecting exposed-conductive-parts of equipment to the main earthing terminal (MET), providing the return fault path for automatic disconnection of supply (ADS).
